Job Summary
Crisis Supervisor manages and mentors the Crisis Management team delivering crisis intervention services, conducts performance audits, handles escalations, onboard/train new Crisis Managers, and coordinates with the Care Delivery Manager for scheduling and after-hours coverage. Requires active clinical licensure (LCSW/LPC/LMFT or equivalent), a Master’s in a mental health field, and 2+ years of supervisory experience in crisis management or behavioral health; strong crisis mastery, de-escalation, risk assessment, and data-driven performance management; proficient with cloud-based tools and EMR/survey software; US work authorization; hybrid work for those near an office; remote work otherwise.
Required Qualifications
- Active clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Master’s degree in a mental health field required
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within crisis management or behavioral health settings
- Strong knowledge of crisis management protocols and best practices, including crisis de-escalation techniques and risk assessments
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide effective feedback and coaching
- Ability to manage performance using data-driven strategies and resolve conflicts in a supportive, solution-focused manner
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the team, clients, and programming
- Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency
- Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication software—Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, Salesforce–in addition to EMR and survey software on a daily basis
