Job Summary
Assess urgent behavioral health needs, safety issues, and risk factors for clients under mental health holds. Develop clinical formulations and safety plans while providing crisis stabilization interventions, mental health holds, and substance use treatments tailored to individual needs. Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and community organizations to address safety and crisis response. Utilize Brief Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for suicide prevention and ensure accurate documentation for clinical accountability and reimbursement. Participate in Crisis Prevention and Intervention training and engage in reflective clinical supervision. This role serves Summit County with two 24-hour shifts per week, offering company-provided housing for non-residents and a salary of $60,000–$85,000 based on licensure status.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Colorado licensure or eligibility for licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, licensed clinical psychologist, or equivalent)
- Experience working with culturally diverse individuals and families, trauma, group facilitation, and crisis stabilization supports
- Knowledge and experience in mental health and substance use assessments and consultation
- Ability to provide interventions within diverse home and community settings
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with HIPAA, 42 CFR, protected health information, and confidentiality
- Commitment to the organization's mission, vision, and goals
- Ability to speak a second language (Spanish, ASL or other)
- Licensed or licensed-eligible (must be able to obtain a preliminary license within six months of employment)
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of automobile insurance
- Two 24 hour shifts per week
- Active working hours: 9am-9pm
- Standby hours: 9pm-9am
- In-person presence
- Residing in nearby towns
- Traveling to clients' homes and communities
