Crisis Specialist (Residential Program)

Job Summary
Conduct crisis intervention and stabilization services in a sub-acute residential treatment setting, including assessments, treatment planning, aftercare planning, case management, and individual and group therapy. Act as the clinical lead of the program during designated shifts while providing training to staff as identified by the Clinical Coordinator or Director. Complete Biopsychosocial Assessments on new clients and implement clinical crisis service goals consistent with overall agency goals. Possess knowledge of all laws, regulations, contractual requirements, and agency policies governing the services performed. Report to direct supervisor and other administrative staff as required, maintaining personal compliance with all training requirements and personnel documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences
- Master's degree in social sciences
- Relevant professional experience of at least 1 year
- Experience in a behavioral health setting
- Experience with crisis assessment
- Experience with triage
- Experience with intervention
- Experience with community resources/systems
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse clearance
- Criminal clearance
- Fingerprint-based federal criminal history clearance
- Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list
