Job Summary
Respond to on-site mobile crisis interventions in residences, schools, and hospital emergency rooms, supporting individuals and families while working respectfully with clients, first responders, and other stakeholders. Facilitate hospital discharges through assessment, planning, and collaboration with hospital teams, acting as the key interface between the Crisis Department and the call center. Manage daily administrative functions including scheduling, infrastructure maintenance, fleet coordination, and documentation audits to ensure completeness and accuracy. Provide clinical oversight to Behavioral Health Technicians as needed and assist leadership with departmental tasks. Requires a valid Arizona driver's license, fingerprint clearance, and 1.5+ years of behavioral health experience.
Required Qualifications
- GED/High school diploma
- 1.5 years of behavioral health (BH) experience
- Associate degree in the BH field
- Bachelor's degree in BH field (e.g. Psychology, Social Work, Counseling)
- Bachelor's degree in non-behavioral health field with 1 year minimum of BH experience
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card within 7 working days of employment
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- 21 years of age
- 4 years driving experience
- Ability to work well and tactfully with individuals and groups
- Ability to perform physical duties associated with this role
- Must pass background check
- Must pass TB test
- Must pass other pre-employment screening
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Previous crisis counseling experience
- Master's degree or higher in the field of behavioral health (e.g. Psychology, Social Work, Counseling)
- Arizona BH licensure (e.g. licensed social worker, licensed counselor, licensed marriage and family therapist)
- 1-3 years of Substance Abuse, Mental Health, and/or other crisis management skills
