Job Summary

Oversee aspects of Maine's State-contracted crisis services continuum, including Mobile Crisis Response, the Statewide Crisis Hotline, and Crisis Residential programs. Collaborate with the Statewide Crisis Program Manager to manage contracts, approve invoices, and oversee program performance for contracted agencies. Develop contractual agreements, draft budgets, and analyze contract performance to forecast spending trends and inform allocation decisions. Provide technical assistance to providers for implementing crisis reform initiatives aligned with SAMHSA guidelines and the national standards for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Monitor program efficiency through performance measures and metrics while ensuring regulatory compliance. This administrative role supports the Office of Behavioral Health's leadership in Maine's comprehensive behavioral health continuum of care.

Required Qualifications

  • An eight (8) year combination of education and/or professional experience in social services
  • Two (2) years of related program management experience
  • Knowledge of Adult and CBHS system of care including applicable rules, laws/statutes, regulations, policies, and procedures governing services
  • Strong understanding of Maine's crisis continuum of care and national best practices of for crisis services
  • Ability to use data to drive decision-making and implement decisions resulting in changes to process
  • Experience working with contracts, contract management and invoicing
