Job Summary
Crisis Response Specialist I (DCR II trajectory) provides telephone and mobile crisis intervention and evaluation services for youth, adults and families in behavioral health crisis under supervision of a Designated Crisis Responder. Responsibilities include telephone and face-to-face assessments, risk assessments, collaboration with clients and support networks to develop stabilization and safety plans, documentation to support safety plans, and assisting with involuntary treatment investigations under ITA RCW 71.05/71.34. Role is community-based with travel between sites; scheduling includes Sunday-Wednesday 9PM-7:30AM shifts with shift differential. The position is on track for advancement to Designated Crisis Responder II and requires credentialing within defined timelines; requires strong communication across diverse backgrounds and settings and the ability to work autonomously in a 24/7 crisis environment with heavy emphasis on trauma-informed care.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field
- Active license/credential for LMHC, LMHCA, LICSW, LMFTA, LAAC OR equivalent as Mental Health Professional per DOH requirements
- Must obtain Designated Crisis Responder designation within 6 months of hire
- Valid driver's license and willingness to use personal vehicle for work
