Job Summary
Triage calls to assess clinical severity and determine in-person response needs, utilizing telehealth for less severe situations. Respond within sixty minutes to crisis locations to de-escalate interactions, develop safety plans, and reinforce coping skills. Connect clients to psychiatric and primary care evaluations, coordinate ongoing treatment plans, and complete weekly Zero Suicide Pathway contacts. Follow up with after-hours line callers to ensure appropriate treatment connections. Maintain stability by linking clients to resources for mental health, substance abuse, and physical needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field such as in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
- State licensure or license eligible for the location and practice including LP, PLP, LPC, PLPC, LCSW, LMHC, LMSW, PLMFT, or PLMFT
- Current driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Current auto insurance
- Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check
- Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment
- All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter
- Competent at reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Proficiently communicates ideas clearly and effectively verbally and in writing to produce clear and concise reports
- Establishes effective relationships via telehealth
- Follows direction and accepts supervision
- Travel is required
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Two years' experience working in human service-related field preferred
