Job Summary
Crisis Responder / Mobile Crisis Management role serving Caldwell and Alexander counties in NC. Provides crisis response services in community, doctor’s offices, schools, and provider offices to help individuals avoid inpatient hospitalization. On-call shifts (15 hours) from home or within the county; 40 hours guaranteed per week; on-call window 7a-10p, 3–4 days per week with every other week offering a 3-day weekend off. Responsibilities include crisis de-escalation, case management, linking to services, developing daily living and social skills, and coordinating first-response resources. Requires Qualified Professional status with specified education/experience; traveling within the counties to support clients; comprehensive training and benefits for full-time staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree (Not Human Services field) & 4+ years full-time experience with population served
- Bachelor Degree (in Human Services field) & 2+ years full-time experience with population served
- Master’s Degree or Higher & 1+ years full-time experience with population served
- License, Provisional License, Certificate, Registration, Permit issued by governing board regulating human service profession
- Valid driver’s license and automotive insurance required
- CPR, first aid, NCI and/or relevant certification, a plus
