Job Summary
Crisis Intervention Support Specialist provides 24/7/365 phone and text-based crisis and suicide-prevention services, handling high-lethality situations and various abuse/neglect referrals. Requires active listening, de-escalation, and adherence to Crisis Center protocols; training includes 73 hours of role-plays and crisis intervention. In-office opportunities exist in Reno/Sparks, NV with remote-friendly options for Nevada residents; compensation varies by shift (graveyard, day, swing) and benefits are included. Must pass background checks and may require some college coursework; prior call-center/crisis experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in call center, crisis hotline, or information and referral service and/or two years of college in a related field a plus
- Must pass State and Federal criminal background checks
