Job Summary
Crisis Intervention Specialist provides behavioral health crisis intervention within Sea Mar’s Adult Mobile Crisis Intervention team in Vancouver, WA. Responsibilities include crisis outreach, assessment, referrals, follow-up, and collaboration with community partners; maintains crisis services documentation in EPIC; conducts risk assessment, de-escalation, and safety planning; refers patients to psychiatric and other health services; adheres to WAC/RCW regulations; participates in AMCI meetings; administers opioid overdose risk screening and Narcan distribution; maintains professional credentials and meets vaccination requirements; works in a team of two and supports policy/procedure development within Sea Mar’s comprehensive behavioral health program.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications are B.A. level in a related field or an A.A. level with two years’ experience in the mental health or related fields
- Must have and maintain a current TB test
- This position must obtain CPR within 90 days of hire date and is required to maintain current CPR throughout employment
- Annual influenza (flu) vaccine required
- Proof of COVID Vaccination
