Job Summary
Conduct assessments of clients in crisis within emergency departments to determine appropriate levels of care. Perform de-escalation for clients with acute symptoms and screen for higher levels of care. Complete clinical assessments, treatment plans for deflected clients, and referrals to inpatient psych facilities. Work after hours on a rotating evening and weekend schedule with on-call availability. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling, or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Family Therapy or Human Services
- Bachelor's Degree in like field with 2 years' work experience in a Behavioral Health setting
- High School Diploma and 5 years working experience in clinical role in a behavioral health setting
- Sunday-Thursday 10:30 pm -7:0 am
- On-Call as needed
- Works after hours on a rotating evening and weekend schedule
