Crisis Intervention/Prevention Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct immediate emergency crisis intervention, including written assessments and 24-7 telephone access for behavioral health crises in cooperation with an on-call team. Deliver group and individual intervention services to children and adults, perform intake evaluations, and develop full continuum of care plans. Maintain documentation, case records, and monthly reports while providing consultation to community members, courts, and other agencies. Ensure proper referrals and coordinate services with providers, judges, and supervisors. Provide a minimum of 5 hours of direct consumer service daily and assist in locating inpatient beds.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or other mental health related field
- Resident of county in which crisis services will be provided
- Valid Mississippi driver's license
- Pass a criminal background check
