Job Summary
Crisis Intervention Clinician conducts comprehensive psychological and psychosocial assessments for mental health patients in the Emergency Trauma Center and across the organization; coordinates patient placements/referrals with physicians and treatment teams; collaborates with inpatient nursing on the psychiatric unit; provides counseling to patients/families; identifies socio-economic needs and connects patients with community resources and entitlement programs; develops and initiates treatment plans with physicians/psychiatrists; utilizes evidence-based practices to support care and discharge planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related human service field possessing CADC or MTBC
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related human service field (may be in process of LAC)
- 1 year in mental health or substance abuse treatment field
