Job Summary

Establish and maintain community relationships while assisting individuals with daily routines, including household tasks, cooking, eating, self-care, and behavior management. Administer medications, provide transportation, and document services through an online computer program. Support stabilization for individuals experiencing emotional or behavioral crises in a short-term residential setting, ensuring safety during interactions with potentially aggressive or eloping individuals. Cover every other weekend shifts from 7am to 11pm, including split shifts, mornings, evenings, and overnights, with flexibility to work other sites. Requires a valid driver's license, insured vehicle, clean driving record, and DHS background study.

Required Qualifications

  • 18 years or older
  • high school diploma
  • one year of experience delivering services to individuals with disabilities
  • valid driver's license
  • access to an insured vehicle
  • clean driving record
  • ability to pass a DHS background study
  • basic computer skills
  • flexibility to work every other weekend 7am-11pm

  • ability to be exposed to infectious diseases, odor, and dust
  • ability to follow training, policies, and care plans to support individuals with unique needs
  • ability to assist individuals with daily routines including household tasks, cooking and eating, individual self-care, socializing, use of leisure time, health and safety, money management and behavior management
  • ability to administer medications
  • ability to provide transportation
  • ability to document services and events through an online computer program
