Job Summary
Conduct active rescues when texter safety is identified as imminent risk and monitor volunteer Crisis Counselor conversations for training adherence and quality support. Provide real-time feedback on conversation quality, assist volunteers in identifying texter needs, and develop safety plans for high-risk situations. Ensure adherence to code of conduct and escalate violations as required. Work with volunteers to provide coping skills and exercise safety protocols during critical moments. This bilingual part-time role requires flexibility to work up to 12 hours per week across weekends, nights, and holidays. Candidates must have 3+ years of crisis intervention experience and fluency in English and Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of crisis intervention work experience beyond volunteerism
- Bilingual, ie. fluent in English and Spanish (written & verbal)
- Ability to work flex shifts as needed to meet the needs of the business outside of assigned shifts, up to 12 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Self-motivated
- People management skills
