Job Summary
Provide empathetic, text-based crisis counseling and de-escalation support to K-12 students and staff via 24x7 remote chat. Utilize strong listening skills and rapport-building techniques to manage mental, emotional, and relational crises while maintaining confidentiality. Operate independently within a fast-paced start-up environment, adapting to evolving processes and flexible shift schedules. Requires reliable high-speed internet, a laptop or Chromebook, and the ability to work autonomously. Backgrounds in crisis intervention, social services, or victim advocacy are preferred. Candidates must pass criminal background checks and be comfortable with Slack-based communication platforms.

- Proficient with computer and web-based applications in a professional setting

- Comfortable adapting to change and evolving processes
- Able to work independently
