Job Summary
Crisis Consultant Intern provides hotline services including mental health support, crisis de-escalation, and information, resources and referrals to callers. The role involves direct crisis assistance through active listening, safety planning, and immediate telephone crisis management for at-risk individuals, coordinating with other agencies and law enforcement as needed, and maintaining accurate documentation. The position offers on-the-job training, exposure to trauma-informed care, and ongoing coaching, with flexible hours and occasional weekend/overnight shifts. Requires 18+ years old, GED or high school diploma, strong communication skills, and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Location: Hamilton, Ohio (on-site).
Required Qualifications
- GED or high school diploma

- Some college or related coursework preferred
