Job Summary
Lead crisis preparedness, planning, simulations, and live response for high-profile clients, serving as the primary day-to-day contact to flag, triage, and manage emerging issues. Advise C-Suite executives on critical reputational and positioning challenges, drawing from expertise in corporate reputation, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement to navigate complex policy, political, and business scenarios. Develop crisis plans, media strategies, talking points, and FAQs while overseeing proactive media outreach and reactive relations. Collaborate with legal counsel, vendors, and client partners to execute high-risk assignments, providing regular counsel and strategic insights to prevent harm to a company's reputation and business.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience advising corporate leaders including C-Suite on a range of critical reputational and positioning issues
- Demonstrated success navigating challenging policy, political, and business challenges
- Strategic thinker able to draw from expertise across corporate reputation, public affairs, crisis management and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to understand and distill complex subject matter quickly
- A demonstrated track record in managing crises and complex, high-risk assignments
- Experience working with legal teams, both in-house and outside counsel
- Experience working with news media, notably business and financial media and/or investigative journalists
- Attention to detail is a must
