Crisis Clinician, Youth and Family Support

Job Summary

Provide telephone and face-to-face crisis intervention to youth and families experiencing behavioral health crises across Macon, Piatt, and DeWitt counties. Conduct crisis assessments, counseling, and referrals to treatment services while creating safety plans and facilitating intensive post-crisis support. Deliver case management services for housing, food, medical care, and transportation in homes and community settings. Monitor psychiatric hospitalizations and coordinate after-care, acting as a back-up clinician to the Adult Crisis Response Team. Collaborate with family, clinicians, and healthcare partners on a team-based approach to treatment. Maintain electronic health records and navigate complex, uncertain schedules. Requires a Mental Health Professional or Qualified Mental Health Professional designation with relevant supervised experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Mental Health Professional (MHP) or Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) designation
  • 5 years of supervised experience in behavioral health
  • Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) designation
  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, or human services
  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, pastoral counseling, or family therapy
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Proof of current automobile insurance
  • Ability to remain flexible and adjust to an uncertain and changing day-to-day schedule
