Job Summary
Evaluate and stabilize acute psychiatric crises for children, adults, and families at risk of self-harm or harm to others. Conduct crisis interventions, make appropriate referrals, and ensure continuity of care through follow-up services. Provide diagnostic and clinical assessments while receiving supervision from an experienced, independently licensed supervisor. This role supports the 24/7 community-based crisis intervention team that delivers emergency psychiatric services across the region.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other mental health discipline
- Training in assessing adults in crisis
- Competency in assessing children and their families in crisis
- Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation protocols
- Experience in providing follow-up and referral services to ensure continuity of care
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience in a Crisis Intervention setting or related field placement in a Crisis Intervention setting
