Job Summary
Crisis Clinician provides rapid crisis intervention, triage, and linkage services as part of the Mobile Crisis Assessment and Triage (MCAT) team and related mobile crisis programs. Responsibilities include initial and follow-up triage, risk assessments for suicide/homicide, de-escalation, crisis/hospital diversion support, and coordination with community resources; requires a Bachelor’s degree, WA Counselor Agency Affiliated – Registered credential within 30 days, valid driver’s license, and willingness to use a personal vehicle for community visits. The role operates on a Wed-Sat night schedule (9 PM–7:30 AM) with an 11.76% shift differential and involves travel between sites, documentation, and collaboration with multiple agencies to support stabilization and safety planning for adults, youth, and families in crisis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health related field
- Must apply for a Counselor Agency Affiliated – Registered credential from the WA State Department of Health within 30 days of hire
- Must have an unrestricted and valid driver’s license
- Be able to pass a motor vehicle screening and driving test
- Have active car insurance
- Be willing to use their personal vehicle in the course of work
