Crisis Clinician (Licensed)

Job Summary
Provide mobile and telephonic crisis response services throughout Jefferson and Lewis counties, delivering immediate, short-term clinical interventions in home, community, office, and other settings. Work with emergency systems, hospitals, law enforcement, and Peer Advocates to coordinate safe crisis response, using evidence-based tools (SBIRT, C-SSRS, PHQ-9, QPR) and safety planning. Conduct holistic assessments of individuals and families, implement person-centered, trauma-informed care, and link clients to community resources. Travel across the service area to deliver services, operate within on-call rotations, and maintain client records in accordance with agency guidelines. Requires NYS licensure in applicable clinical roles and a valid NYS driver’s license; on-going compliance with privacy and health regulations is required.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure by the New York State Department of Education as Physician (MD), including Psychiatrist and Addiction Specialist, Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry (NPP), Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Clinical Nurse Specialist
