Job Summary
Provide rapid crisis evaluations in community-based settings, including homes, hospitals, and schools. Deliver brief, solution-focused interventions to stabilize youth in acute behavioral health distress and develop individualized safety and treatment plans. Coordinate referrals to behavioral health services, natural supports, and educational resources while partnering with multidisciplinary systems. Maintain timely, accurate documentation and meet all billing and quality standards. Participate in team supervision, program meetings, and ongoing training. This mobile crisis team serves Whatcom and Skagit Counties, linking youth and families with ongoing supports to reduce unnecessary inpatient placements.
Required Qualifications
- MA/MS/MSW Degree in a Behavioral Science field
- Mental Health Professional (MHP) per WAC
- Washington DOH Agency Affiliated Counselor status
- Valid WA driver's license
- Vehicle
- Appropriate insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) designation
- Experience working with youth and families in behavioral health or crisis settings
