Job Summary
Crisis Clinician II provides mental health and substance abuse emergency services to individuals in crisis and to community agencies, assesses risk and immediacy of service needs, conducts mental status examinations to establish provisional diagnosis and determine level of care, and offers behavioral interventions as needed. Responsibilities include coordinating disposition planning with clients, families, law enforcement, and community agencies, and meeting the on-call requirement (minimum 15–24 hour shifts per month). Requires a Master’s degree in a recognized mental health field and six months of crisis intervention experience; must be authorized to work in the US with no sponsorship. Telehealth is not eligible for this onsite Granby position, which includes a cost-of-living adjustment for onsite staff and COLA noted for Granby, CO. The role involves documenting interactions, utilizing computer applications, and the ability to travel between Health Solutions West sites; travel and on-site duties are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in one of the recognized mental health professions
- Minimum of six months of experience in crisis intervention requested
- Must already be authorized to work in the US; sponsorships not available
