Job Summary
Crisis Center Clinician provides crisis intervention, assessments, therapy, and referral services for adults 18+ at a 24/7 Behavioral Health Crisis Center. The role involves onsite work at 260 Jefferson Ave SE Suite 100, Grand Rapids, MI, with a 12-hour weekly Saturday shift from 7pm to 7am. Telehealth options may be used. Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Counseling Psychology and licensure eligibility in Michigan (Limited Licensed Master Social Worker, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist) with completion within three months of hire. The organization emphasizes compassionate crisis care aimed at preventing or resolving mental health or substance-related crises, with services potentially including brief intervention and crisis stabilization. A sign-on bonus and shift differential are offered as part of the compensation package.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Counseling Psychology
- Certification or Licensure in the State of Michigan as a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist; OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within three (3) months of hire.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and rationally
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, electronic health record, and data entry skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and bridge language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed Master Social Worker (preferred)
- Lived experience with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
