Job Summary
Establish and maintain community relationships while assisting individuals with daily routines, including household tasks, cooking, eating, self-care, and behavior management. Administer medications, provide transportation, and document services through an online program. Support individuals with developmental, mental health, or physical disabilities in a variety of settings, including travel into the community. Handle challenging behaviors and frequent problem-solving activities while working flexible split shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight coverage. This role involves person-centered planning to provide the best care, with opportunities for internal promotion.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- high school diploma
- one year of experience delivering services to individuals with disabilities
- valid driver's license
- access to an insured vehicle
- clean driving record
- ability to pass a DHS background study
- basic computer skills
