Job Summary
LPN at Sea Mar’s Crisis Care Center in Lynnwood, WA providing direct nursing care to clients during behavioral health crisis stabilization. Responsibilities include conducting medical screenings and assessments, administering medications (including insulin), developing and updating individualized care/service plans, ensuring infection control and regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate clinical documentation (monthly summaries, medication records, alert charting), and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care. The role requires state licensure as an LPN, BLS CPR within 90 days of hire, TB testing, annual health and vaccination requirements, and ongoing education credits. The position offers a 3x12/4x12 every-other-week schedule with Day and Night shift options and full-time benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed to practice as an LPN in the State of Washington
- LPN license in WA at time of hire
- BLS CPR certification within 90 days of hire and maintenance thereafter
- Complete pre-hire and annual TB screening
- Annual influenza and COVID-19 vaccination as required
- HIV education completion
- Continuing education credits to meet licensure requirements
- Infection control practices adherence
- Medication administration competency (including insulin management)
- Ability to coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
- Documentation and monthly summary notes maintenance
- Wound care and clinical assessment capabilities
- Ability to develop and implement individualized care/service plans
- Safety and regulatory compliance training
- Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills
