Job Summary
Crisis Bed Specialists provide direct support to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises and/or substance use concerns through the development of coping skills, symptom management, crisis intervention, safety planning, and medication stabilization. The role involves collaboration with treatment teams and community partners to reduce psychiatric hospitalizations and Emergency Department usage. Ideal candidates are empathetic, patient, able to manage high-stress situations, and are expected to support individuals under the influence while maintaining safety.
