Crisis Assessment Shift Supervisor - PART TIME

Job Summary

Provide clinical supervision and oversight to assigned clinicians, ensuring they implement evidence-based practices and meet quality and regulatory standards. Manage hiring, training, and performance evaluations while overseeing direct clinical services and crisis response. Ensure timely completion of all clinical paperwork and maintain open communication lines between customer service and clinical staff. Communicate with community stakeholders to provide education on crisis services and assist front desk supervisors in fostering positive working relationships. This part-time role involves a single 12-hour shift per week, either day (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) or night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), with on-call availability. Work is performed primarily in a crisis center environment within the Oakland Community Health Network.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field or Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Licensed in Michigan as a clinical social worker (LCSW), psychologist, professional counselor (LPC), or marriage and family therapist (LMFT)
  • Certification in crisis intervention or trauma-informed care
  • Previous experience in crisis intervention or emergency mental health
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and mental health assessment tools
  • Basic understanding of community resources and referral processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Empathy and strong ethical standards
  • Good documentation and record-keeping skills
  • Knowledge of HIPPA

  • Part time position scheduled to work 1 day per week
