Job Summary
Assemble crimping machines according to technical specifications and assembly instructions while inspecting and verifying parts for quality and accuracy. Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete assembly tasks, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery as needed, and document assembly processes to report any discrepancies or defects. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment while collaborating with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve assembly issues.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, wiring, or machine-operation experience
- Ability to read basic work instructions, drawings, or assembly diagrams
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring instruments
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive assembly tasks
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and follow established procedures
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear required PPE
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with electrical components and wiring
- Technical training or certification
- Experience with crimping tools or machines
