Criminal Justice Instructor Full-time

Criminal Justice Instructor (Full-time) at Columbus Technical College. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, evaluating student progress, academically advising students, participating in faculty development, and assisting with recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts. May teach high school students, require teaching on/off campus throughout the service area, and travel within Muscogee, Stewart, Quitman, Chattahoochee, Harris, and Talbot Counties. Develops course outlines aligned with state standards; collaborates with local employers and advisory boards; writes accreditation and assessment reports; manages supplies and budgets; prepares documentation and reports; stays current with policies and laws; markets program services to employers; coordinates job placement services; presents to community organizations; and supports special events. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field with POS T certification and teaching experience, or equivalent combinations as detailed above. A strong emphasis on classroom instruction, program development, governance alignment, and community engagement is required.
