Job Summary
Coordinate communications between project team leaders, system interface partners, and suppliers during system testing and post-implementation refinement. Perform analysis to verify supplier delivery against documented requirements and ensure testing aligns with the project schedule. Develop and distribute management reports detailing progress, problems, and risks associated with system testing while executing quality assurance on communications. Manage security access, user profile management, and requirements artifacts including test cases, traceability matrices, and use cases. Identify integration points for new applications and business processes within existing systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a criminal justice and/or law enforcement analyst
- Extensive knowledge of the Virginia criminal justice system and/or law enforcement
- Extensive knowledge of computer systems
- Experience as a business analyst
- Excellent communications skills in English
- Must work full-time onsite at VSP Headquarters, North Chesterfield
- Must be available to work on site from day one
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of criminal history record processing
- Experience writing and reading system test plans
- Proficiency in creating business and system requirements
- Strong organization, administrative, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated
- Ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with coworkers
- Proficiency in Organizational Change Management
- Experience implementing cloud-hosted Software As A Service (SaaS) solutions
- Ability to produce requirements related artifacts such as test cases, requirements traceability matrix, business rules, interface requirements, use cases, activity diagrams, error validations and role based system profiles
- Ability to manage security access and user profile management
- Ability to identify how new applications and business processes will integrate with or replace existing business processes
- Ability to communicate with internal customers in nontechnical terms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
