Job Summary

Conduct criminal and civil record research using public records indexes to validate client decisions. Accurately enter results into proprietary systems, marking findings as "clear" or recording details per court instructions. Build relationships with court personnel and the public while proactively communicating supervisor updates on holidays, closures, or process changes. Support ordering of court copy requests and conduct searches in surrounding areas or online when assigned. Maintain expertise in background screening workflows and report quality concerns or trending issues promptly. Adhere to strict Quality and Turnaround Time standards while working normal courthouse hours with occasional overtime availability.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in computer software, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Type at a minimum speed of 35 words per minute
  • Have daily access to reliable transportation, a computer, and high-speed internet
  • Successfully complete all required introductory training
  • Be available to work during normal courthouse hours and willing to work overtime with prior notice
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, either now or in the future
