Job Summary
Gather and review evidence, draft motions, discovery, and legal filings, and coordinate communications with clients, courts, and counsel. Own the litigation calendar to ensure no missed hearings or dropped deadlines occur while keeping case files airtight in the case management system. Prepare for trial with organized, strategic documentation and manage case chaos independently from various locations. This role supports attorneys in high-stakes criminal defense cases, requiring strong knowledge of the Wyoming Rules of Criminal Procedure and five years of litigation experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of litigation experience
- Confident in your ability to manage cases independently
- Skilled in drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and prepping for trial
- Strong command of the Wyoming Rules of Criminal Procedure (or the chops to learn them fast)
- Killer attention to detail
- Self-starter with relentless follow-through
- Fluent in tech: calendars, docs, and legal software
