Criminal Defense Attorney

Experienced criminal defense litigation attorney sought to join Right Path Law Group in Northern Virginia. The role involves managing a criminal defense caseload across General District Court, Circuit Court, and Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court in Northern Virginia, representing clients charged with felonies and misdemeanors from arraignment through trial or resolution, developing case strategy, drafting and arguing motions, negotiating dispositions, and trying cases to verdict when necessary. Responsibilities include appearances at status, bond, preliminary, motions hearings, and trials; proactive client communication in English and Spanish where applicable; collaboration with the criminal defense team on strategy and workload distribution; accurate documentation in the firm's case management system; and quarterly data submission for performance review. The position offers a base salary of $120,000-$135,000, quarterly bonuses based on case value and closings, comprehensive employer-paid health/vision/dental insurance, a 401(k) with a 4% match after one year, three weeks of paid time off plus holidays, and opportunities for senior associate and leadership roles as the firm grows.
