Job Summary
Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment while requisitioning stock to replenish inventory. Perform cycle counting, mark and identify tools using tags or electric marking tools, and inspect equipment for defects or wear to report damage. Deliver tools and equipment to workers manually or with hand trucks, coordinate customer needs, and assist with optimizing scheduled maintenance operations. Manage inventory of tools and vending machines, and identify cost savings initiatives. Maintain stocked vending machines and ensure general housekeeping standards are met.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with the daily operation of supply cribs
- Professional phone demeanor
- Experience with computer managed inventory systems
- Ability to be flexible
Desired Qualifications
- Mechanical or Industrial background preferred
- Experience working with maintenance and manufacturing personnel is a plus
