Job Summary

Transcribe and enter study data into case report forms using Metadata, ensuring accuracy while collaborating with quality control and project management teams. Address data questions and classifications during sponsor monitoring visits and resolve sponsor-generated data queries promptly. Communicate effectively with data managers and CRAs, adhering to study protocols and SOPs. This part-time role involves working 20 hours per week in Dallas, TX, with scheduled shifts of 4 hours on first or mid-shifts. You will work with leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to establish the safety and tolerability of new drugs in Phase 1 trials.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years' experience in a research environment or related experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Experience in clinical research or related field
  • Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf
  • Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs
  • Ability to work in an upright and/or stationary position for 6-8 hours per day
  • Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists to operate lab equipment
  • Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment where no deviations from the study protocol are allowed
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt on the spot
  • Teamwork and people skills
  • Occasional drives to site locations
  • Occasional domestic travel
  • Exposure to biological fluids
  • Personal protective equipment required such as protective eyewear, garments, and gloves
  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Varied hours may be required
