Job Summary
Lead assigned crews in safe and effective completion of grounds, roadside, and sign maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, sweeping, and cleaning facilities. Operate specialized tools and equipment while performing general maintenance on vehicles, buildings, and tools. Monitor equipment operations, report faults, and ensure compliance with safety rules and procedures. Communicate via radio and telephone to respond to service requests, relay messages, and coordinate work activities. Provide quality service to park guests by answering questions, directing visitors, and identifying hazards or graffiti. Maintain facilities before, during, and after special events, including setting up amenities, managing the carousel, and ensuring doors are secured. Enter data into mobile devices and manage materials for checkout. Work Saturday through Wednesday, 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M., with hours subject to assignment changes.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet regular attendance requirements.
- Must be able to maintain good interpersonal relationships with staff, co-workers, managers, and citizens.
- Must accomplish the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, in a timely manner.
- Must be available to work mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
