Crew Scheduler

Role Summary: The incumbent is responsible for effective organization of Air North, Yukon Yukoncrew scheduling to maximize crew utilization and serve our customer needs. This role works closely with Chief Pilot of type and Flight Attendant Manager to ensure that best possible solutions are identified. Key Duties include ensuring crew is assigned to appropriate aircraft for trips, monitoring duty hours, maintaining the crew schedule, monitoring passenger load for crew utilization, forecasting crew requirements for each season for recruitment, communicating with crewmembers about schedule changes, maximizing efficient use of crewmembers, and securing accommodations including hotel and deadhead flight bookings. Must-haves include a minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, strong communication and problem resolution skills, a valid drivers license, a minimum of two years related experience, accountability and reliability, and legal entitlement to work in Canada. Nice-to-haves include previous airline experience, understanding of crew duty regulations, previous scheduling experience, and administrative certificates.
