Job Summary
Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and process payments while maintaining a clean dining area. Prepare food to company standards, operate kitchen equipment safely, and follow all sanitation protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations, manage opening and closing duties, and assist with inventory stocking. Handle cash transactions, provide change, and maintain organized registers. Work in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age (or comply with state-specific labor laws)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4-8+ hours) with periodic breaks
- Capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder as needed
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly as part of job duties
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to move around the kitchen quickly and efficiently
- Awareness of temperature fluctuations and safe practices is essential for maintaining food safety standards and personal well-being
- Awareness of potential hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors
Desired Qualifications
- Prior food service or customer service experience is a plus but not required
