Job Summary
Crew Member - Summer Work – Temporary position assembling construction modules in a production manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include operating equipment or building according to construction plans, reading blueprints to determine construction requirements, verifying safety and that specifications are met, following directions from the Crew Leader and more experienced crew members, coordinating with other production crew members and crew leads, evaluating projects for compliance with technical specifications, inspecting equipment/tools to ensure safety protocols are followed, and performing other duties as assigned. The role starts in May/June and ends around Aug/Sept in Albertville, MN; the position is full-time temporary and not eligible for benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Read specifications such as blueprints to determine construction requirements or plan procedures to completion
- Operate equipment or build according to construction plans to verify safety and ensure specifications are met
- Follow directions from Crew Leader and guidance from more experienced crew members
- Coordinate work activities with other production construction crew members and crew leads
- Evaluate projects to determine compliance with technical specifications
- Inspect equipment or tools to be used in construction and monitor and ensure proper safety protocols are followed
