Job Summary
Greet customers, operate cash registers, scan items, and provide change while maintaining proper cash levels. Prepare and serve food orders from coffee, oven, and deli stations, ensuring all items are checked for expiration and temperature. Complete general housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, mopping, emptying trash, and stocking shelves across all store areas. Perform fuel court inspections, pump tests, and hazardous waste checks as required. Adhere to safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, and follow all store operations policies. Work overnight shifts with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds and ability to adapt to temperature changes.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to adapt to abrupt temperature changes when moving from one environment to another
- Must be able to perform other duties as assigned by store management
- Lead by example by acting safely at all times and prevent others around you from acting in an unsafe manner
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment as required
- Follow all current safety standards
- Ensure safe working conditions by maintaining a clean, organized store in accordance to standards
- Perform a daily check by manually inspecting of nozzles, hoses, vapor recovery, spill bucket and other components in the fuel court to ensure safe working conditions
- Perform a weekly test of pumps to ensure proper fuel flow
- Perform a weekly check of the hazardous waste drum to ensure proper conditions
- Wipe down the fuel area (pumps, trash, valets) with cleaning chemicals
- Replace receipt paper and ensure that credit card payment area has not been tampered with
- Inspect and wipe down the air pump with cleaning chemicals
- Maintain the Fuel and Hazmat closet
- Clear oil and gas spills in accordance with all safety standards
