Job Summary
Crew Member - Maintenance responsibilities include mowing turf, edging, blowing, pruning shrubs and low tree branches, planting and maintaining flower beds, laying sod, weeding, applying mulch, picking up trash, using hand tools and power equipment, digging trenches and holes, moving soil/equipment/materials, and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned. Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus; must be comfortable working outside for long periods in extreme temperatures and able to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly; experience in landscaping and ability to operate hand and power tools are required. This role is with Juniper, a Southeast landscape design/build/maintenance company offering benefits including health/dental/vision, 401K, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Landscaping experience required
- Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
- Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
