Job Summary
Assist crews by working on the ground, handing tools and heavy materials to workers. Flagging traffic, assist line crew with setting poles by shoveling or picking, and fill anchor holes. Clear undergrowth from right-of-way using hand tools or saws. Must possess a valid driver's license, be insurable, and demonstrate physical strength to lift up to 80 pounds while working in all weather conditions. Full-time, 40-hour week Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional overtime and weekend work as required. Required Qualifications
- Must possess and maintain valid driver's license
- Must be insurable
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to lift/move up to 80 pounds
- Must demonstrate ability and willingness to learn
- Must be self-motivated and work productively
- Must have physical strength, endurance and work well with your hands
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
- Must be available for weekend work as required
- Must be available for overtime
- Must be available for specific project requirements
- Must be available for variations to accommodate specific project requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience on a construction jobsite a plus
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
