Job Summary
Join Jimmy John’s as an inshop Crew Member responsible for making fast and accurate sandwiches, taking orders over the phone and at the register, assisting in prep and maintaining a clean, well-organized store. You’ll contribute to a Freaky Fast, Freaky Fresh customer experience, memorize the menu, and help deliver food quickly while upholding food safety and cash-handling policies. The role requires daytime availability, ability to operate a cash register, lift 30-40 lbs, stand and move in a walk-in cooler/freezer, and work in a high-volume lunch environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to operate cash register and handle cash transactions while adhering to all cash handling policies
- Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs regularly throughout shifts
- Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop throughout assigned shift
- Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F
- Day-time availability and ability to work high volume lunches
- Responsible for customer product and service standards
- Foster an environment of teamwork
- Adhere to all food, safety and security guidelines
