Job Summary
Crew Member at Jimmy John’s performing fast, high-quality sandwich preparation and serving, taking orders over the phone, registering orders, maintaining a clean environment, assisting in prep, and supporting in delivering exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities include operating the cash register, handling cash, stocking and food prep, adhering to food safety and security guidelines, and delivering Freaky Fast service with a teamwork-focused approach in a fast-paced, customer-facing restaurant setting. Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs, stand for shifts, and work daytime/evening/weekend availability. Location: Guilderland, NY (US).
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to operate cash register and handle cash transactions while adhering to all cash handling policies
- Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs regularly throughout shifts
- Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop throughout assigned shift
- Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F
- Greet and thank every customer with a smile and eye contact
- Execute quality store operations
- Adhere to all food, safety and security guidelines
