Job Summary
Greet customers, prepare sandwiches according to formula, and operate the Point of Sale system to record orders and process payments. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to the 3-step cleaning method, restock the sandwich unit, and perform multiple daily cleaning duties across the restaurant. Handle light paperwork as assigned and complete University of SUBWAY courses as directed. Part-time positions earn $13 an hour plus tips; full-time roles earn $14-$15 an hour plus tips. Candidates must obtain a Texas Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of hire and possess the ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- Some high school or equivalent
- Must be able to understand written and verbal instruction
- Must be able to communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Must be able to use Point of System (POS)
- Ability to work in a team environment and establish professional working relationships
- Adaptable to a changing environment and high volume shifts due to customer demands
- Must be able to obtain a Texas Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of hire
- Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
