Job Summary
Greet customers, prepare orders, and maintain food safety and sanitation standards while operating the Point of Sale system to record orders and process payments. Prepare food according to formulas, restock the sandwich unit, and adhere to the 3-step cleaning method to maintain a clean image. Perform multiple daily cleaning duties, handle light paperwork, and complete University of SUBWAY courses as directed. Adapt to high-volume shifts and work in any area of the restaurant when needed. Obtain a Texas Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Some high school or equivalent
- Must be able to understand written and verbal instruction
- Must be able to communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Must be able to use Point of System (POS)
- Ability to work in a team environment and establish professional working relationships
- Adaptable to a changing environment and high volume shifts due to customer demands
- Must be able to obtain a Texas Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of hire
- Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
