Job Summary
Greet customers, prepare orders, and maintain food safety and sanitation standards while operating the Point of Sale system to record orders and process payments. Perform multiple daily cleaning duties across all restaurant areas, restock the sandwich unit, and adhere strictly to quality formulas and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual. Adapt to high-volume shifts by working in any area of the restaurant as needed and completing required University of SUBWAY courses. Obtain a Texas Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of hire. Full-time roles offer $14–$15 hourly plus tips; part-time roles offer $13 hourly plus tips.
Required Qualifications
- Some high school or equivalent
- Must be able to understand written and verbal instruction
- Must be able to communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Must be able to use Point of System (POS)
- Ability to work in a team environment and establish professional working relationships
- Adaptable to a changing environment and high volume shifts due to customer demands
- Must be able to obtain a Texas Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of hire
- Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
