Job Summary
Greet customers, prepare orders, and maintain food safety and sanitation standards throughout the shift. Operate the Point of Sale system to record orders, collect payments, and make change while ensuring accurate menu explanations. Prepare food according to established formulas, restock sandwich units, and perform multiple daily cleaning duties using the 3-step method. Adhere to all quality standards outlined in the Operations Manual and complete University of SUBWAY courses as directed. This role requires bending, twisting, standing, and lifting up to 30 pounds occasionally. Full-time positions offer $14–$15 per hour plus tips, while part-time roles are $13 per hour plus tips. A Texas Food Handlers Certificate is required within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Some high school or equivalent
- Must be able to understand written and verbal instruction
- Must be able to communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Must be able to use Point of System (POS)
- Ability to work in a team environment and establish professional working relationships
- Adaptable to a changing environment and high volume shifts due to customer demands
- Must be able to obtain a Texas Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of hire
- Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
